(WNCN) \u2014 A Smithfield man was arrested Thursday morning after he was accused in the deadly shooting of his wife earlier that day, police said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=4180\">The Unsolved Murder of Brittany Locklear<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the Smithfield Police Department, officers responded around 5 a.m. to a shooting at a manufacturing facility in the 2100 block of Wal-Pat Road. They found Lorena Capera Paz suffering from a gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was identified as 39-year-old Jesus Antonio Tenorio Bermudez, who was determined to have been married to Capera Paz, according to Smithfield police.<\/p>\n<p>About four hours after the shooting, around 9 a.m., police said they arrested Bermudez at his home and charged him with first-degree murder.<\/p>\n<div>\n<figure><img alt=\"Jesus Antonio Tenorio Bermudez is charged with first-degree murder after being accused of shooting and killing his wife Lorena Capera Paz in a Smithfield parking lot.
