GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) \u2014 A man was arrested and charged with multiple felonies after the Goldsboro Police Department said he was found trying to sell items stolen from the Goldsboro Parks and Recreation building.<\/p>\n

According to police, officers responded to a call about a break-in that happened in the early morning hours at the parks and recreation building on Peachtree Street on Tuesday around 8:15 a.m.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they found that a car and several items had been stolen from the building. The vehicle was found a short time later, according to police.<\/p>\n

At 3:50 p.m. later that day, police said investigators found the suspect, Erik Jamell Hamilton, in the 2000 block of East Ash Street.<\/p>\n

According to investigators, Hamilton was found attempting to sell some of the items stolen from the parks and recreation building and was arrested.<\/p>\n
