(WNCN) \u2014 Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are now investigating a Wednesday afternoon collision between a private jet and a box truck on an RDU taxiway.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=4805\">NC attorney general sues over Medicaid work requirements targeting state\u2019s sickest<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, these sorts of things should never happen,\u201d said local aviation attorney James Crouse.<\/p>\n<p>No one was hurt during the incident, but the plane involved sustained significant damage to the nose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s beyond me how these things happen, but they do,\u201d said Crouse.<\/p>\n<p>The FAA says the collision happened when the truck crossed the taxiway on a service road that is not controlled by air traffic controllers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese drivers are trained, or supposed to be trained, to look for not only airplanes but other vehicles on these taxiways.
