(WNCN) \u2014 Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman says while no juveniles have been charged yet in the weekend\u2019s shootings during what police call a \u201cteen takeover,\u201d several have been identified. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=5227\">Tanker set ablaze after being struck by projectile in the Strait of Hormuz as Iran mourns Khamenei<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell says she\u2019s considering a curfew for people 17-years-old and younger.<\/p>\n<p>From Brier Creek to Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh Police say 5,000 teenagers were behind the chaos. Video from social media shows thousands of people crowding Glenwood Avenue as Raleigh Police swarm the area. As of Monday afternoon, no juveniles were charged in any of the nine shootings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJuveniles have been identified, and those processes are underway to secure petitions, and again, this is an investigation that will go on for some period of time,\u201d Freeman said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>While the charges are being organized, Freeman said she and other law enforcement agencies can\u2019t always be reacting to the violence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to look at prevention methods as well, I anticipate City Council will look at the possibility of a curfew and whether it\u2019s appropriate to impose some sort of curfew and then just building out from there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Cowell says City Council will talk about that and other ideas at their meeting on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=5225\">NATO set to unveil billions in arms deals to prove its firepower to Trump<\/a><\/p>\n<p>DA Freeman says it\u2019s not enough.
