around 3:20 p.m. due to a vehicle fire on Interstate 40 east near the Aviation Parkway exit.<\/p>\n<p>Surveillance video from NCDOT showed flames and heavy black smoke shooting from the back of the Can revisit later. -->\n<div>\n<h3>\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tI-40 East lanes closed after semi catches on fire: NCDOT\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n<\/h3>\n<span>\n<span>\n<svg><\/svg>\n<\/span>\n<\/span>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>The Morrisville Fire Department confirmed with CBS 17 that they responded with three engines to put out the fire, along with the Cary Fire Department and Wake County.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was extinguished, according to Morrisville officials, around 4 p.m. and the cause has yet to be reported.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to two lanes, NCDOT said the ramp to Aviation Parkway is closed on I-40 east.
