(WNCN) \u2014 A Raeford business owner is facing a long road to recovery after a head-on crash in Hoke County, but her family says support from strangers, friends, and the community is helping carry them through.<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=948\">Aston Villa and Prince William celebrate Europa League triumph ending team\u2019s 30-year trophy drought<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Larinda Watts, owner of Blue Cord K9 Training, suffered serious injuries in a crash along Rockfish Road on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to family members, the 38-year-old broke her back and was airlifted to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where she underwent emergency spinal surgery. It became their family\u2019s main source of income and a way to serve others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is a strong person in our family,\u201d Kevin Watts said. \u201cWhen I say that, she does a lot for us. The thought of losing her or losing any part of her is scary to all of us.\u201d<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/raleighmovingnews.com\/?p=946\">As CFP barrels toward 24 teams, the questions remain: Who\u2019s paying for this, and how much?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since the crash, the community has rallied around the family. A GoFundMe page created by Botchie has raised more than $17,000 to help cover medical bills and living expenses while Larinda Watts recovers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s overwhelming,\u201d Kevin Watts said. \u201cBut also puts my heart at rest, knowing we got people behind us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The family also reunited Wednesday with Danette Dean, the woman they call Larinda  Watts\u2019 \u201cangel\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to family members, Dean was driving along Rockfish Road when she witnessed the crash and immediately stopped to help. She stayed with Watts and kept her calm until first responders and her husband arrived.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was just sitting there not crying and not freaking out,\u201d Botchie said. \u201cI do believe it was because of her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dean said helping was instinctive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStepped in kind of like mom mode, soldier mode,\u201d Dean said. \u201cI just looked at her and said we don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on, we don\u2019t know what\u2019s internally wrong.
