TIMBERLAKE, N.C. (WNCN) — A double shooting in Person County Sunday evening left one person dead and another hurt, the sheriff’s office said.

According to the Person County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened in the 3700 block of Helena Moriah Road near Timberlake.

The sheriff’s office said two people were shot during the incident.
