ZEBULON, N.C. (WNCN) — Two people have been displaced following a fire at a townhouse in Zebulon early Tuesday morning, officials said.

The blaze was reported by the Zebulon Fire Department just after 5:30 a.m. at a townhome in the 700 block of Putney Hill Road in the Barrington neighborhood.
According to officials, the Zebulon Fire Department was assisted by crews from Hopkins Rural, Pilot, Ferrells, Middlesex, and Wendell in putting out the blaze.
