Orchestra Noir: Revolutionizing concerts with a cultural twist in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Classically trained musicians have come together to put a twist on the orchestral concert experience.

Orchestra Noir is on a mission to bring the culture into concert halls nationwide.

According to trumpet player Tiffany Godoe, the orchestra comes together with the DJ to create an experience that keeps the audience on their feet, dancing from beginning to end.

“We want kids to be able to see this and see that in the future they can continue to do music in a fun way that gives back to their culture,” Goode said. “From beginning to end, you’re going to be on your feet. It’s a nostalgic party for two hours.”
