But the cooler weather is temporary. We’re back to around 80 degrees on Saturday, with middle- to upper-80s all the way until the end of next week.

The biggest story, other than the subsiding intense heat, is the multiple rain chances we have on the 10-day forecast. In fact, every single day has at least a small chance of showers.
It won’t rain every second of any day, but it’s a nice pattern flip after going so many weeks with minimal rain chances.

As much as 1” to 2” of rain could fall. It won’t eliminate the drought, but it will go a long way in helping get the area going in the right direction.
