CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick is set to hold a press conference late Monday morning in Chapel Hill.

The presser comes amid a rollercoaster couple of weeks for the program. On the field, the team has had early success in Belichick’s second season, beating TCU in Dublin in a Week 0 matchup on Aug. 29. The victory avenges the Tar Heels’ loss to the Horned Frogs last Labor Day.
Off the field, the turmoil regarding now-former general manager Michael Lombardi continued, with the longtime Belichick confidant resigning Thursday.

The future of the team’s defensive coordinator position is also in question, as one of Belichick’s sons, Steve Belichick, remains on medical leave.
The Tar Heels next play Saturday when they host East Tennessee State at Kenan Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
