Few showers Saturday, still pleasant across central NC

A pleasant weekend is on tap across central North Carolina after a cold front brought lower humidity and bright sunny skies. Another weak cold front could bring a few isolated showers Saturday afternoon, mainly across the Sandhills, but most communities will stay dry. Behind the front, Sunday morning will start in the 50s before warming into the 70s by the afternoon, under bright sunny skies.

Another quick-moving cold front will help to keep the dry air locked in through the middle of next week as it slides through Monday. While it may spark a shower or two, it will bring back drier air and mainly sunny skies, meaning temperatures will start June running slightly below average. By the end of the week, temperatures will start to climb back to near-normal levels, with moisture and higher humidity levels returning for next weekend.
