According to City of Fayetteville officials, the Safe Streets and Roads for All initiative, also known as SS4A, is focused on using evidence to determine which safety improvements will reduce the most traffic deaths and serious injuries.
Crash data shows 76% of the deadly and serious injury crashes in Fayetteville happen in 8% of the city’s roads, according to officials.
Officials said the initiative is supported by U.S. Department of Transportation funds.

Community members are asked to participate in SS4A by completing an online survey to share their experiences and suggest changes to make the roads safer. The feedback will be used towards a comprehensive safety action plan aimed towards reducing crashes and improving the roads, according to city officials.
The survey is on the City of Fayetteville website.
The deadline to complete the survey is June 7.
