Another record afternoon to end the week will give way to another muggy overnight. Saturday will begin with temperatures in just the middle to upper 70s before rising back into the steamy middle 90s.

Scattered showers and storms are possible both days of the weekend. But Sunday will be the hotter of the two days, with a high temperature likely tying or breaking the old record high.
It’ll get a little cooler on Monday with highs returning into the upper 80s through midweek. But it remains muggy, with daily chances for afternoon showers and storms totaling as much as 0.25” to 0.75” combined.
The 90s return Thursday into Father’s Day Sunday. But no sign of 100 degrees for at least a week after this weekend.

SATURDAY will be partly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. The high will be 94 with a heat index of 99. Winds will be 5 miles per hour out of the northeast.
SUNDAY will be mostly clear with another chance for scattered storms. The high will be 97 with a heat index of 104.Winds will be 5 to 10 miles per hour out of the southwest.
