“Honestly, it’s been great; we did a few watch parties here,” said MoJoe’s Burger Joint Manager Jayonna Burke.

“It’s been so crazy; it’s been so long since we got this far,” said Milk Bar spokesperson Jordyn Jennings.

Both MoJoe’s Burger Joint and the Milk Bar managers say the playoffs have transformed their establishments from go-to downtown spots to Canes hubs — especially for Game 6 on Sunday.

“It was pretty packed; we had a good crowd,” Jennings said.

“There were a lot of people in here watching the game overnight, and they stayed open until the game finished and everyone went crazy,” said Burke.

The Milk Bar says business has gone up 30% each night the Canes hit the ice in the Stanley Cup final. And as they cash in on the moment, they are making sure to celebrate with flavor.

“We have a shake on the menu right now that’s the Storm Surge, and it’s red velvet to celebrate the Canes, and we have some drinks [named] after some of the Canes players,” said Burke.

It isn’t just about the profit; it’s about seeing their community grow and come alive with Caniac spirit.

“Just the pride of being a Caniac and coming together and supporting our team, it’s been so much fun seeing everyone get together,” said Jennings.
