APEX, N.C. (WNCN) — The Town of Apex is shining a light on mental health.
Officials are hosting the second Annual MARCH 1000 this Saturday, where over 1,000 men will come together to raise awareness for Men’s Mental Health.

Mayor Jacques Gilbert said this powerful gathering isn’t just about walking. It’s about showing up for one another and breaking the silence that often surrounds mental health struggles.

“We understand how men suppress things and we don’t talk when we are experiencing challenges in our lives,” Gilbert said. “This is an opportunity for men to stand together and bring awareness to this issue.”
The event will be held at the Apex Town Hall Campus on Saturday at 10 a.m.. There will be speakers, free food, and more.
