“It’s important that I stand with people from the past that couldn’t have celebrated Pride and couldn’t be themselves and have fought for my rights and for how far I have come,” Out! Raleigh Pride Attendee, Ryan Coates said.

Coates will be standing alongside an expected 85,000 people on Fayetteville Street this weekend.

“I feel like we need to come together more, like, I love it; hopefully Raleigh is turning into something we can all enjoy,” Out! Raleigh Pride Attendee, Gabby Avery said.

This weekend, Raleigh is providing those options. Down the street at the Raleigh Convention Center, Brick Universe is making its last-minute touches to LEGO displays.

For the past three years, Zambitio has traveled all the way from Rochester, New York, to display his Lego Sculptures.
