The fire was reported around 9:45 p.m. along Hummingbird Lane near the shore of Lake Gaston, according to a Warren County Emergency Services news release.
A neighbor reported the fire that broke out when no one was at home, Warren County Fire Marshal Greg Henry said in the release.
No one was injured in the fire that destroyed the home, according to Henry.
“The fire was determined to be accidental, caused by improperly discarded fireworks,” Henry said in the release.
