RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh road will temporarily close next week as part of a resurfacing project, the North Carolina Department of Transportation said Thursday.
According to NCDOT, Glenwood Avenue at Five Points is scheduled to be closed from next Sunday, July 12 to next Monday, July 13 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Work may also take place next Tuesday, July 14 if necessary.
If the work is delayed for two nights by weather, according to NCDOT, the closures will instead take place the following week on July 19, 20, and 21.
NCDOT said contractors will mill, pave, and apply new pavement markings while the road is closed.
