The events, which included more than 3,000 teenagers at two areas, happened in the Brier Creek shopping area Saturday night and in Glenwood South early Sunday, according to a Raleigh Police Department news release.
A Raleigh arrest of a juvenile on Wednesday was in connection with the Glenwood South incident. That juvenile is now facing charges of felony rioting and firing a gun in the city.
On Friday, officers arrested Justin Brown, 16, who they said was involved in the 3,000-strong “teen takeover” at Brier Creek and gunfire that injured two adult bystanders.
The incident was reported as a fight just after 10:25 p.m. at the Brier Creek Commons shopping center, according to a previous Raleigh Police Department news release.
After the teens were removed from a store, a large fight erupted outside, police said. During that disturbance, gunshots were fired.

“During the chaos, two innocent bystanders, both adults, were injured,” police said.

Brown is facing various charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and firing a gun into an occupied car, police said.
The bystanders are expected to recover from their injuries, according to police.
