ERWIN, N.C. (WNCN) — More than 1,200 Duke Energy customers in Harnett County were without power early Monday after a large outage near Erwin.

According to Duke Energy’s outage map, approximately 1,283 customers along Red Hill Church Road lost electricity.
The outage was first reported around 9:06 p.m. Sunday. As of Monday morning, Duke Energy estimated power would be restored by approximately 10:45 a.m.

The cause of the outage has not been confirmed.
