RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A person was hospitalized after an early Thursday morning shooting in a north Raleigh neighborhood, police said.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers were called at around 4:17 a.m. in response to a reported shooting on the 6700 block of Magnolia Court.
When officers arrived on scene, police said they found a person who had been shot.

EMS crews transported the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries, but their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
Officers have not released any information about a possible suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing.
