ZEBULON, N.C. (WNCN) — Firefighters battled a blaze at a townhome in Zebulon early Tuesday morning, officials said.

The incident was reported by the Zebulon Fire Department just after 5:30 a.m. at a townhome in the 700 block of Putney Hill Road.

According to the department, the fire happened about 12 hours after an alarm went off at a nearby home in the 700 block of Putney Hill Road.
