RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Central North Carolina is getting its first women’s sports bar. The typical bar is centered around men’s sports, but Her Sports Club NC opening in Raleigh next year will play women’s sports on their television screens.

In episode 13 of Triangle After Dark, hosts Judith Retana and Deana Harley welcome Amanda Kupris and Sabrina McMillan to the show. Kupris and McMillan are the founders of Her Sports Club NC. The bar is meant to be in a place to view, appreciate, and learn more about women’s sports.
This won’t be your typical sports bar with sticky floors. Kupris and McMillan talk through their inspiration and vision to the bar, along with how the public can be part of the journey to opening day. Join their effort here.
