From college fan to star: Durham native Joshua Suiter shines in Netflix’s A Different World reboot

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham native Joshua Suiter is now streaming in Netflix’s reboot of the beloved series “A Different World”.

Known for his performance in Hulu’s “All’s Fair”, Suiter brings his unique charm and authenticity to this revamped version of the iconic show.

“It’s truly a dream come true,” Suiter said, reflecting on his journey from watching the original series during his college years to being a part of its revival.

“To be a part of this show just warms my heart so much because I can’t say enough about what going to an HBCU did for me,” he said. “I hope that love shines through in the series, inspiring a new generation of viewers.”
