Intense heat and humidity are about to make a comeback. Highs soar back into the lower 90s Thursday through the weekend, with feels-like values well above 100 degrees. Only an isolated shower chance will be around to help cool us off.

No actual air temperatures of 95 degrees or above are anticipated, but it will feel like the heart of summer again. With so much humidity in the air, any given afternoon has the chance for a pop up shower or storm. But no days on the 10-day forecast are a washout.
The long-range temperature outlook calls for warmth and humidity to persist through most of the month.
FORECAST
THURSDAY will be partly cloudy with an isolated shower or storm. The high will be 90. Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

OVERNIGHT will be partly cloudy. The low will be 73. Winds will become calm.
FRIDAY will be partly cloudy with a few isolated showers and storms. The high will be 91. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
