RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was hit by a vehicle on a busy Raleigh road Monday night, prompting police to divert traffic for some time.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, a man was struck around 10 p.m. near Wake Forest Road and Navaho Drive, just north of Interstate 440 and near Duke Raleigh Hospital. Though he was hurt, police said he is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Part of the road was closed for a while as officers worked the scene, but has since reopened.
