DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A late-night crash temporarily shut down part of Interstate 885 North in Durham early Tuesday before the roadway reopened in time for the morning commute.

According to the Durham Police Department, all northbound lanes of I-885 were closed between Holloway Street and Cheek Road following a crash reported around 11:18 p.m. Monday.
The interstate fully reopened around 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
