RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Raleigh Fire Department is partnering with a local nonprofit for its sixth annual Back-to-School Drive.

The event, hosted in partnership with the nonprofit organization Change The Type, is designed to help students prepare for the upcoming school year with free school supplies and community resources.
It will be held on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Biltmore Hills Community Center.

Families can receive free school supplies and haircuts while enjoying food, games, raffle prizes and other family-friendly activities.
Community organizations will also be on hand to provide resources and information.
