Raleigh food truck rodeo with free fresh produce

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Eatwell Exchange has partnered with Made Mobile Truck Rentals for a Bite the Beat event, a food truck rodeo featuring delicious bites and a fantastic atmosphere.

But that’s not all! This event also features a free pantry service where community members can receive a fresh bag of produce.

It’s a great opportunity to enjoy great food and support healthy living all in one place.

“We understand that there is such a thing as food scarcity,” Made Mobile Truck Owner Brianne Peters said. “We understand that fresh produce is rare and affordable. That’s where this collaboration is very important.”

Eatwell Exchange co-founder and director Jasmine Westbrooks-Figaro said, “This is very important because Eatwell has taken an approach to not only provide free produce, but also to provide education on how healthy that produce is so we can prevent negative health outcomes.”
