September marks Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

In the latest episode of Health Now, CBS 17 anchor Liz Ortiz sat down with Duke Health urologist Dr. Daniel George to discuss what everyone man should know about prostate cancer, from risk factors and symptoms to screening and treatment.

Dr . George also highlights the upcoming 7th Annual Genitourinary Cancers Community Education Event. It takes place on Saturday, September 19th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the North Carolina Central University Student Center in Durham.
