DUNN, N.C. (WNCN) — The man wanted in a deadly double shooting at a Dunn bar earlier this month was arrested Monday, court records show.

According to the Dunn Police Department, 32-year-old Keason Kindale Stocks was identified as the suspect in a shooting at the 601 Club in the 600 block of North Fayetteville Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 2.
The incident resulted in the deaths of Jarvis Elliott of Erwin and Travis Williams of Dunn. Two more people, a man and a woman, were also shot, according to Dunn police.
Police said they believe the shooting resulted from an argument outside of the bar.
Court records show Stocks was taken into custody on Monday. He is charged with two counts of murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Stocks made his first appearance in Harnett County court on Tuesday morning and was not given bond, according to records.
As of Tuesday morning, Stocks’ next appearance has not been scheduled.
According to a warrant filed by Dunn police, Stocks was convicted in 2019 of assault with a deadly weapon with serious injury in Harnett County.
Following the double shooting, the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission suspended the 601 Club’s license last Friday, Aug. 7. The commission stated the suspension was due to multiple violent incidents at the bar.
