Trio flees after several gunshots hit Raleigh home, cars on Beacon Crest Way: Police

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Three males connected to a wild Raleigh neighborhood shooting fled before officers arrived late Thursday night, police said.

The incident was reported after 10 p.m. Thursday in the 4200 block of Beacon Crest Way off North New Hope Road in northeast Raleigh, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

Several rounds were fired, with gunfire hitting at least one home and a few cars in The Village at Beacon Hill subdivision, police said.

Officers said detectives are investigating the shooting incident after a trio fled before they could be identified.
