The community is invited to join Aviyon’s Day of Fun Celebration at Huck Sansbury Park on Saturday, May 23rd.
The event will feature free food, music, games, and much more. This annual event honors 12-year-old Aviyon Partridge, who tragically drowned on Memorial Day in 2019 during a family outing at Hyco Lake in Person County.

“He was joyful, and he loved people,” said Event Organizer Dr. Tanillya Partridge. “He loved his friends, so seeing everyone come out and enjoy the event every year, it gets bigger and bigger. It’s soothing to the heart to see everyone come and have a good time.”
The celebration is open to the public and will run from noon until 6 p.m. The Partridge family hosts the event through their nonprofit organization, Aviyon’s Athletic Foundation.
