WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Three men have been arrested and charged in connection to a shooting death this week, according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release.

Aquavis Spaugh Hickman, 19, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with:
- felony general murder
- felony robbery with a dangerous weapon
- misdemeanor possession of marijuana
He was given no bond.
Aldo Romeo Roman-Vega, 20, was arrested on Thursday and charged with felony general murder and felony robbery with a dangerous weapon.
He was given no bond.
Roberto Silva Salazar, Jr., 18, was arrested on Friday and charged with felony general murder and felony robbery with a dangerous weapon.
He was given no bond.
Background
At around 11:10 p.m. on Monday, officers came to the 100 block of Highland Avenue after getting a report of a gunshot. They later got a report of a man lying in the parking lot in the same area.

At the scene, police found 26-year-old Drel Elijah Timmons unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
Life-saving efforts were done by the officers until EMS arrived; however, Timmons would be declared dead at the scene.
