RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Three men were taken to a nearby hospital after they were injured in a shooting in east Raleigh early Saturday evening.

The triple shooting was reported around 6:50 p.m. at 1910 Poole Road at Angier Avenue, just southeast of the New Bern Road intersection, according to the Raleigh Police Department.
All three suffered gunshot wounds in their extremities in the incident near the Dollar Tree, police said.
The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but all three men were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to officers.
Raleigh police later said the triple shooting did not happen at a Memorial Day party, but instead in a parking lot across the street from the Dollar Tree store.

The parking lot was littered with evidence markers, which are usually placed by police to mark shell casing locations.

Police said they were investigating the shooting Saturday night and were seeking a suspect.
Officers said there was “no additional threat to the community at large” related to the shooting.
