RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Jaden Lucas Miller caught the acting bug at a young age at the Raleigh Little Theatre and the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre. “I have always had the bug. My mom helped me get to where I am today,” he said.

Jaden graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh in 2024 and enrolled as a freshman last fall at North Carolina A&T. In November 2024, he auditioned for CBS’s new Soap Opera, Beyond the Gates, and, while taking finals, learned he had landed the role. “We were jumping for joy. My mom was crying, and I was like, it’s happening,” he said.
He is taking classes online, working on set in Atlanta, and taping scenes for Beyond the Gates. “I play Tyrell Richardson. I’m somewhat part of the Dupree family; I’m adopted,” he said.

In addition to his role in Beyond the Gates, Jaden is also starring in the show Divorced Sistas, showcasing his versatility as an actor. The series explores the lives and challenges of a group of women as they navigate friendships and relationships after divorce.
The series Beyond the Gates is set in the Maryland suburb of Fairmont Crest and focuses on the Dupree family, a powerful, prestigious, multi-generational family.
