FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A Maryland developer is bringing a new business park to Fayetteville that could create new jobs and attract additional companies near Fort Bragg.

Obrecht Properties has purchased 30 acres on Procurement Circle and plans to build the Gateway at Military Business Park. The site is located near Interstate 295 and directly behind the Amazon distribution center along Bragg Boulevard.
The project will feature six single-story buildings totaling 325,550 square feet.
According to developers, the space is designed for a variety of industries, including defense, medical, and call center operations.

“We are seeing what’s going on in the rest of this park as we drove in,” said Thomas Obrecht of Obrecht Properties. “We are fulfilling the need of light industrial. I think there is a need for a modern and first class.”
Construction will be completed in phases. The first phase includes two buildings and is expected to be finished next summer.
According to developers, the project will help meet growing demand for industrial space while bringing new business opportunities and jobs to the Fayetteville area.
