Our best rain chance in awhile arrives on Friday as tropical moisture moves across the Carolinas and interacts with an approaching cold front. As much as 0.50” to 0.75” of rain is expected, with a low-end severe weather risk Thursday into Friday.

Slightly lower humidity and highs in the upper 80s arrive just in time for the Carolina Hurricanes Stanley Cup Championship parade Saturday. It’ll also remain dry all day long.

Father’s Day Sunday also looks dry with highs returning to the lower 90s.

We’ll be back in the middle to upper 90s by Monday before settling into the upper 80s and lower 90s through the week.
