Humidity will also be higher Sunday, and there’s the chance for a stray shower or storm with highs in the middle 90s, but most places will remain dry again.

It’s going to feel like the first night of summer with muggier lows in just the lower 70s. Temperatures will soar into the middle to upper 90s on Monday with an approaching cold front.

Rain should hold off for the most part until the late afternoon and early evening.

As the front pushes through, models continue to suggest an organized line of gusty showers and storms.

The Storm Prediction Center has the entire region under a slight risk for severe weather.

It’ll be slightly cooler Tuesday, with highs still in the lower 90s. The driest day of the week arrives on Wednesday with just a spot shower chance and a high around 90 degrees.
