Gone are the comfortable mornings like we experienced Wednesday, back are the sticky, uncomfortable morning leading to dangerously hot afternoons. Heat index values could push 107° through Friday.
In addition to temperatures climbing, we will stay rain-free through Saturday. Another ridge of high pressure will have enough influence on our weather to keep the rain away, but it starts to breakdown Saturday night, allowing rain chances to develop and temperatures to drop slightly.
All of next week will be more typical of what we expect for July. Mornings will begin in the 70s and will feel humid, the afternoons will hit the low 90s with a spotty chance for showers and storms.
