CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WJZY) — Crews responded to a large fire at a southwest Charlotte apartment complex on Lake Wylie.

Charlotte Fire was called around 4:46 p.m. to the 13800 block of Queen Harbor Road to assist Steele Creek Fire at the multi-unit apartment building.
Firefighters from multiple departments battled the heavy flames and smoke billowing from the structure.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. We do not know how many residents were displaced due to the blaze or if there were any injuries.
