RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — One person was injured after crashing a pickup truck into an apartment building in Raleigh early Friday morning, police said.

The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. at the North Oaks Landing Apartments on Forest Oaks Drive, according to the Raleigh Police Department.
CBS 17 crews at the scene captured footage showing significant damage to the building and debris scattered across the property.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said. No one inside the apartment was injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
