Henderson County GOP leaders chose their former chair Chelsea Walsh Thursday night as their nominee for NC House District 117.
Walsh will replace Jennifer Balkcom on the ticket in November. Balkcom left the race after Republicans picked her to replace Chuck Edwards in the 11th Congressional District.
