Monday will see a high reaching the lower 90s with just a scattered shower or storm. Then the really intense heat builds in with a high in the middle to upper 90s on Tuesday through Thursday and heat index values as hot as 106 degrees.
A little relief from the dangerous heat arrives on Friday through early the next week with an approaching front.
Rain chances will increase slightly with the slow-moving front. But overall rain chances remain limited for at least the next 10 days.

OVERNIGHT will become dry and partly cloudy. The low will be 74. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5 miles per hour.

MONDAY will be mostly clear with isolated downpours. The high will be 93 with a heat index of 105. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
TUESDAY will be mostly clear with a few scattered showers and storms. The high will be 96 with a heat index of 106. Winds will be out of the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour
