GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a Greensboro man with a felony and three misdemeanors on Saturday.

Alexander Anderson Kenion, 28, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, misdemeanor injury to personal property and misdemeanor communicating threats on Saturday.
According to the report provided by the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, Alexander Anderson Kenion shot his wife’s left middle finger off with a .44 Magnum Revolver while she had a phone in her hand.
The report stated Alexander did unlawfully and willfully threaten to physically injure his wife and a Guilford County Sheriff’s deputy.

The threat was communicated to the deputy that if he did not get his wife some help, Alexander would kill him, according to the report.
The threat was made in a manner and under circumstances that the deputy believed the threat would be carried out.

Alexander is scheduled to appear in the Guilford County Courthouse on Sept. 15.
