General parking in advance at the Lenovo Center is $65. The price for paying in person is $95, according to the arena’s website.
Carolina Hurricanes fans were not only anxious on Thursday for a win in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, but also parking prices.
“Butterflies yesterday, butterflies the day before,” season ticketholder Ann Goldman said. “It’s excessive. There’s no difference from a regular season game to a Stanley Cup Final today. There might be more people, but we always sell out, so there’s no much more.”
The Lenovo Center website also directs people to online parking service ParkWhiz, which showed some lots sold out by Thursday afternoon and one about a mile away near Hillsborough Street for $25.
According to Cheryl Zelek, she paid $80 for premium parking with her season tickets.

“Outrageous because these are the same spots we pay $36 for during the regular season,” she said. “Now, the price is jacked up to $80. Who’s making money here?”

Those who don’t want to drive to the Lenovo Center can also use a rideshare service, with a pickup and drop off location across from VIP parking, next to TowneBank Center at Carter-Finley Stadium.
The GoRaleigh bus line 27L also brings people to Blue Ridge and Rex Way. Its last stop is at 11:17 p.m.
Tickets inside the Lenovo Center are sold out for the watch party on Saturday when the Hurricanes travel to Nevada to take on the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 3. Game 4 watch party tickets, which are about $10, are close to selling out as of Thursday afternoon. Parking is free for the watch parties.
