An approaching cold front will lead to an unsettled but slightly more comfortable weekend. Scattered showers and storms are likely both days, with Sunday being the wetter and cooler day of the two. Either day could see a gusty storm or two, with a marginal risk of severe weather in place for Saturday.

Highs will dip from the lower 90s on Saturday back to the middle to upper 80s on Sunday and Monday. As much as 0.25”-0.50”+ could fall over the next few days, with higher amounts in areas that see rounds of storms.

Only a scattered rain chance for Monday before it turns completely dry on Tuesday through Thursday of next week. But as the pattern turns drier, the heat begins to build again. Highs by Wednesday will be back in the middle 90s with upper 90s on Thursday and Friday or next week.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT will be mostly cloudy with a few lingering showers and storms. The low will be 74. Winds will be west at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
SATURDAY will be partly cloudy with scattered rain and storms possible, especially in the afternoon and evening. The high will be 93. Winds will be west at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

SUNDAY will be mostly cloudy and slightly cooler with scattered showers and storms. The high will be 87. Winds will be northeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
